Why It’s Important To Vote With Your Money…

This is how we do it in Leek. A small market town in the Staffordshire Moorlands, England, home to about 20,000. Leek doesn’t have many national retailers, you won’t find a MacDonalds here or a Tesco. No Marks and Spencer, Gap, or Waterstones. There are a couple of supermarkets, a coffee chain, and a national discount store and that’s pretty much it.

But one of the things which makes Leek such a great place to live or visit is the number of independent shops, makers, growers, and traders all keen to bring their skills and make Leek a unique community.
